How to Bookmark a Secured PDF Rift

Thumbnail pages and bookmarks in PDF files

Tagged bookmarks give you more control over the content of the page than traditional bookmarks. Since tagged bookmarks are created using the internal structural information of the document elements (e.g. heading levels, paragraphs, table names), they can be used to edit the document, e.g. For example, to reorder the related pages in the PDF document or delete pages. If you move or delete a parent tagged bookmark, its tagged child bookmarks are also moved or deleted.

Many DTP applications, e.g. B. Adobe InDesign® and Microsoft Word create structured documents. When you convert these documents to PDF, the structure is converted into tags that support adding tagged bookmarks. Converted web pages usually contain tagged bookmarks.

If there are no tags in your document, you can always add them in Acrobat.
