  • 2012.04.29 AnTherm needs rectangular geometry by x1, y1, z1, x2, y2, z2 and material property such as lambda, material name etc. If you can create such tabulated data (for 2D let z1 = z2 = 0) tell us how AnTherm can invoke your creator (C # or any .NET 4). One solution (currently) is to convert the project to a 3D project and to carry out the selection / assignment there.     Attention: 1-omega will be about 0.1-0.0001, so that the proposed variant is numerically "more stable" than the one with diff (with small diffs 1e-7 or 1e-13 we "lose" more than half of the accuracy).
    BUT: Then we are missing Diff for the termination condition. Diff afterwards and additionally to be calculated would then mean 2 * Add + 2 * Mul (more expensive).
    In the stationary case (real equation matrix) the conservation of energy as the sum of all room surfaces could be sufficient. But what about the heat sources where nothing has happened in the initial iterations at the edge of the room? How is it with a complex system of equations (no heat flow function, room boundary sum neither 0 nor 1 / diag!).
