Samsung tablet: perform a soft reset

If your Samsung tablet has just hung up and no longer reacts, a soft reset is usually sufficient. No data is lost:

  1. Press the Power button for about 8 to 10 seconds.
  2. The tablet screen should then go black and restart.

If that doesn't help, the hard reset described above remains.
