Tomasz Palmowski (201-C / F-97) had a very impressive game in the last round for UR Krakow and that's him to receive a Interperformances 2Liga Player of the Week award for round 5.
The 23-year old had the game-high 36 points adding eight rebounds and two assists for UR Krakow in his team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Rybnik (# 13, 0-5) with 16-point margin 90-74. UR Krakow is placed at 7th position in Polish 2Liga. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. UR Krakow will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. In the team's last game Palmowski had a remarkable 92.9% from 2-point range. It's his second year at UR Krakow and it's hard to imagine this team without him. Palmowski has impressive league stats. He is in league's top in points (6th best: 23.7ppg) and averages solid 62.5% FGP.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was 36-year old power forward Arkadiusz Zabielski (196-PF-84) of Zubry. Zabielski impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led Zubry to another comfortable win outscoring the lower-ranked MKS Ochota (# 11, 1-3) 107-79. This victory allowed Zubry to move up to 6th position in Group B. His team lost some distance to top teams. But 2-1 record is not bad and everything may still change. Zabielski is one of the most experienced players at Zubry and has a reputation of one of the team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 29.7ppg (# 2). His other stats are also decent: 13.3rpg and 3.3apg.

The third best performed player last round was Seweryn Sroczynski (195-F-95) of Tarnovia (# 7). Sroczynski scored 29 points and grabbed five rebounds. He was a key player of Tarnovia, leading his team to a 115-66 easy win against Stal Ostrow 2 (# 13, 0-5). Tarnovia needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams in Group D. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 2 lost games. Sroczynski has a very solid season. In 4 games in Poland he scored 17.3ppg.

The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations / leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5 * PTS + 3 * (REB + AST + ST + BL-TO) - 2 * BSAG - 4 * PF + 3 * PFRV + 4 * (2FGPM + 3FGPM) + 1.5 * FTM - 3 * (2FGPA- 2FGPM) - 3 * (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
